Install the content you intend to play
- Content selection
- The official rollout notice describes choosing which content to install, including optional Warzone. Before Season 1, that choice installs the then-current Warzone version rather than MW4-integrated Warzone.
- Automatic downloads
- Supported platforms may begin automatic installation before showing content choices. The notice recommends reviewing automatic-download settings if you need to choose content first.
- Space
- The desktop requirement is 115 GB available on SSD at launch, with more space potentially needed for updates. Console package sizes are not supplied by these inspected sources.
- No Xbox PC launch button
- The October 23 support entry recommends checking Microsoft Store’s 10-device limit and missing MW4 content packs. This is a reported issue, not a guaranteed explanation of every launch failure.
