What to know

Examples
Lost Supply Drops, truck repairs and radio-tower intel are described Side Ops. UAV and SAM services also have activation tasks.
Free Roam
Deploy without selecting a mission. It still allows exploration, looting and objectives found inside Hajin.
Outcomes
The task may grant cash or XP, restore a service, provide intel, or reveal a supply opportunity. Check the task-specific objective and reward.
Reported payout exampleReported
A published Iron Citadel extraction summary lists three Side Ops paying 1,500 DMZ Cash in total. That example does not establish a universal 500-cash reward for every task.
Reported cash at extractionReported
The inspected Side Op guides describe 500 DMZ Cash per completed Side Op, paid on the extraction summary, plus XP. Their cited Iron Citadel example shows three Side Ops totaling 1,500. This describes the published payout context; it does not establish a universal current-build reward or immediate inventory credit.
Safe completion exampleReported
The Crack Safe report displays SIDE OP COMPLETE when the safe opens and reports 225 XP for that run. Opening the safe, receiving XP and collecting cash at extraction are separate events.

Before your next move

  1. Check the active marker and its objective.
  2. Complete the local interaction and defend it when prompted.
  3. Use the service or recover the resulting supplies; check whether your Orders also advanced.
