Unlock first, recruit second
Use the roster to find the correct game mode or edition requirement. Character access and Active Duty capacity are different: unlocking another identity does not create another deployment slot.
Choose a role for each slot
Keep a primary build and a backup you can afford to equip. A combat, exploration or recovery role is a planning preference, not an innate character bonus. Select the actual Traits offered to that Operator.
Save a plan, then check the loadout
A website build is a draft. Before deploying, choose the intended Active Duty Operator and verify weapons, armor, backpack, medical supplies and current mission requirements in the game. Reuse the same draft with another identity only after checking that Operator’s actual Traits.
Extract and offload
After a successful extraction, move useful supplies to shared storage for future runs. Account progression, Operator development and carried gear are separate; another Operator does not inherit the first Operator’s Traits.
Recover or replace deliberately
If the Operator is MIA, compare the displayed rescue fee with the progress you would surrender through dismissal. Recovery brings the Operator back, then you must prepare gear again. Permanent Prestige Traits remain bound to the same identity.
