FIELD BRIEF · Lieutenant hunt

Find the target, prepare for the escort, then extract the case.

Know the threat

  • The Boss Board opens after the second Order. Intel requires prior challenges and payment, and lasts one deployment. A Lieutenant Hunt tower can mark the nearest target.

  • Lieutenants have distinctive loadouts and may have escorts. Their iconic weapon and personal-location key are possible drops. The guide describes the Dog Tag Case as guaranteed, without a measured drop rate.

  • Taking the case broadcasts your position. Extracting it advances the Boss Board, even if the case came from another player.

PREPARATION

Before you engage

Preparation tips; damage and health values are not available yet.

  1. Confirm the hunt

At the FOB, check that the target's intel is available and affordable. During the run, use the live hunt information instead of treating a previous encounter as a guaranteed spawn.

  2. Separate target and escort

Identify the Lieutenant and nearby troops before opening fire. Agree which squadmate tracks the target and which watches for additional enemies or rival players.

  3. Inspect each outcome

Look for the case and any separate key or weapon. Read a recovered key's destination before deciding on another stop; do not expect all three outcomes from every kill.

Find the encounter

Use target intel or a Hunt tower during the deployment. Neither the group portrait nor a named POI proves a particular Lieutenant is present.

Loot, rewards & recovery

PLAN THE EXIT

Before collecting the case, agree who carries it and which extraction to use. After collection, favor the agreed exit over another optional loot stop.
