Options to compare

View and clarity
PC Enhanced FOV changes the screen edges without changing central FOV. The article also describes HDR10+, a sharpness slider and revised shading, reflections, shadows and occlusion options.
Depth of field
World and Weapon Depth of Field are separate controls, letting you change background clarity independently of the weapon effect.
Scaling
Listed options are DLSS 4.5, FSR Redstone, XeSS 3 and Filmic SMAA T2X. Availability depends on supported hardware; no universal best setting is established.
Input
The PC announcement includes sub-frame mouse polling and configurable input devices. No measured latency reduction is supplied here.
Ray tracing
The announcement includes Campaign, Multiplayer and DMZ support. That does not establish a minimum frame rate on a particular system.

Use the in-game benchmark

The official tool runs a simulated Multiplayer sequence and reports performance by zone. Its result is useful system evidence; it is not a benchmark of every DMZ encounter.

Compare one setting at a time using the same benchmark and record the result. This is an editorial comparison method, not a claim that a specific preset is optimal.

Shader delivery and restarts

Advanced Shader Delivery distributes precompiled shaders on supported PCs. The Xbox PC app is described as necessary only to use ASD, not as a universal Steam/Battle.net play requirement.

The launch description reduces restart interruptions during boot, but says updates arriving while playing may still restart between matches.
