What to know

Time Remaining
Tracks storm escalation, not a universal extraction vehicle timer.
Objectives
Story, Dynamic Operation and Side Op tracking appear separately from the DMZ Orders display.
Compass
A 1–360 degree heading and nearby named POI help orient your callouts.
Threat indicators
Area Threat and Hostiles Kill Count describe different escalation systems.
Squad display
Shows health, armor and plate reserves, downed/wounded/dead state, temporary health, cash and relevant equipment condition.
Weapons and supplies
The HUD shows weapon ammunition and active equipment; open the backpack to sort or swap carried supplies.
Tac-Map actions
Zoom, ping, inspect missions and Orders, see threats and radiation, or cancel the current Op through the available controls.
GridReported
Letter and number labels identify a map cell, not an exact door or world-distance measurement.

Before your next move

  1. Check timer, squad condition and objective before moving.
  2. Open the Tac-Map and ping a useful destination.
  3. Read the active mission and its own timer before using an exit or changing objectives.
